Bald Eagle

The iconic bald eagle. This incredible creature stands for many things and has inspired courage around the world. Many stories have been told about the bald eagle i find it them so interesting what they represent to different cultures. There is an old legend that all eagles can look straight into the sun. According to the translation of St. Augustine "The sun invigorates the eyes of eagles, but injures our own." Athapaskan have portrayed the eagles as taking away famine from people.
